Tulipanes Latino Art & Film Festival

Highly energetic band from Grand Rapids that brings us the native music of the Dominican Republic with a taste of Cuban and Puerto Rican sounds, an all Caribbean mixture of sounds and traditions. The fast paced sounds of the Congas along with the exquisite  sounds of the other instruments will have you dancing all the time!  It will be combination of African rhythms, and sounds of Salsa, Bachata and other Caribbean music. For Tulipanes Festival, they will have a moment of interaction with the crowd and teach a brief history of Caribbean music and its African roots.
