Teresa Lamb is originally from Mexico City, Mexico. Attracted by the beauty of dancing and the music and sounds of her own and other cultures, throughout the years she has studied traditional Mexican Folkclorico, Capoeira, Samba, and Cabaret Belly Dancing, among others. In 2006, she started taking Tribal Belly Dancing classes with Myrna Santana at Raven’s Fire Studio and Boutique in Vallejo, California. A year later the class came under the direction of an accomplished dancer and performer, Audrea Buchi. Teresa was strongly influenced by the unique and earthy style of tribal belly dancing and concentrated all her energy in constant learning. Because of her enthusiasm and effort, she was invited to be part of the “Sisters in Dance” troupe and performed formally for the first time at the annual Rakkasah Dance Festival in 2008.
