Carmelo Lopez

I was born on April 7, 1955 in the city of Santa Rosa Trinitaria, Chiapas, Mexico, a small beautiful town. When I was a kid I became interested in drawing in addition to my love for sports. My passion became a dual interested between sports and drawing.

Through I grow up, I practice drawing, painting in oils, pastels and acrylic painting, but I felt that something was not right. I got married and had 4 wonderful kids that I love with all my heart. I got to Los Angles California and there I match my work with art when I discovered the Sand Blasting, this is a special technic where I can do art in glass.

In my life I had been teacher, student, father, athlete, and artist. Proof of that is that everybody that knows me would tell that they always see me as a hard worker, a good parent, a very good teacher, and of course, showing my soul through my art. I can say that people can appreciate my work in a lot of places, at Hospital Spectrum Health, St. Marys Parish , San Joseph the Worker Parish, South Beach Florida (with a big work of Flowers), and soon in places as the San Juan Diego academy, and the restaurant Los Aztecas in Battle Creek.
