Angel Yandy born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Graduating with a bachelors in fine arts degree from the Institute Superior Enrique Jose Varona. In 1996, Angel was awarded with the prestigious Urban Art award.
Angel's art has a fine touch of Hispanic expressionism that comes from his Cuban roots.
He has exhibited his work in Cuba, Ecuador, Honduras, Europe, and the United States.He has been recognized and participated in art festival in Western Michigan. His heartfelt work commemorating Cuban immigration is exhibited in the Hispanic Center of Grand Rapids.
