Ginner Castillo is an acrilic painter who describes her work as electric.
"I find it hard to pinpoint my style, because I try to have no rules exept not to become static. Once I try something, I'm ready to move on and try something else. Many of my works differ in technique, style and subject matter-from landscapes and florals to figurative expression and abstraction," she says.
"I enjoy using a vibrant palette and depicting a bit of whismsy in my work, I strive to go with the flow and remain fluid as i continue to experiment with imagination, technique, and color. I try to remind myself often that, in life as in my art, it's more about the Journey than the destination."
Ginner`s Work is exhibited at Washington Square Gallery in Holland. She has been a part of Artists Unidos in Grand Rapids, where she participated in four exhibitions. She was a featured artist in solo exhibit at Accents Gallery in Grand Rapids in 2009, and has displayed work in Holland`s Tulipanes Latino Art & Film Festival for several years.
